Nuts and Bolts: Janelle Christa is a wife, mother, and female filmmaker whose bold, experimental avant‑garde films have earned over 100 awards and screened at top festivals worldwide, including the Red Movie Awards in Reims, France, and the London International Film Festival.
Education: A graduate student at the David Lynch Graduate School of Cinematic Arts, she collaborated with Lynch before his passing in 2025 and holds a Film & TV certificate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
Mentors:Janelle’s career has been shaped by legendary mentors and friends such as JV Hart (Hook, Bram Stoker’s Dracula), Gregory Goodman (Civil War, Captain Phillips), Kate Lanier (Set It Off, What’s Love Got to Do with It), and Jhoni Marchinko (Will & Grace, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) Tiffany Thomas (The Proud Family, Mandalorian).
Acting: First appearing as a child on Touched by an Angel, she has gone on to share the screen with household-name actors in diverse roles. Her upcoming feature with KITS Studios is set to premiere at Paramount Pictures.
